Figsnap is a Chrome extension that helps you capture and export visuals from Figma quickly and efficiently. This policy explains what data Figsnap accesses, how it is used, and what it never does.

The short version: Figsnap collects nothing about you. Everything happens locally in your browser.

All actions performed by Figsnap occur entirely on your local device. No information leaves your browser.

How Figsnap Works

When you activate the extension, Figsnap reads content from the active Figma tab only — and only while you are actively using it. It does not run in the background, monitor other tabs, or retain anything after your session.

Permissions

Figsnap requests the minimum permissions necessary to function.

• activeTab Accesses the current Figma tab only when you invoke the extension.
• host (figma.com) Allows interaction with Figma page content for capture functionality.
• scripting Enables the capture feature to run within the Figma page.

Third-Party Services

Figsnap does not integrate with any analytics platforms, advertising networks, or third-party services that collect user data.

Remote Code

Figsnap does not load or execute any remote code. All functionality is bundled within the extension and runs entirely in your browser.

Data Storage & Sharing

No user data is stored on any server, database, or external system. We do not sell, rent, or share any information with third parties — because there is none to share.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
